In his message, Mateusz Morawiecki highlighted that “Poland and Hungary are tied together by friendship of many hundreds of years which has constituted the foundations of our cooperation to date. The shared history of the two countries has given us proof of mutual support in many instances. I sincerely hope that we will be able to develop and strengthen our relations also in the future,” he wrote.
In his message, he further pointed out that in the present situation he regarded the solidarity of allies as especially important; at a time when “the Russian aggression against Ukraine has destroyed the very foundations of peace and stabilisation in Europe,” the Polish Prime Minister wrote to Mr Orbán.
