Prime Ministers of Hungary and Cape Verde meet for the first time

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán received his counterpart, José Ulisses Correia e Silva, in Hungary’s Parliament Building.

At the meeting it was stated that every country has a fundamental right to its identity, because preserving and maintaining that identity is the guarantor of the nation’s continued existence. The parties determined that the Republic of Cape Verde, which has many ties to Europe, is a good starting point for maintaining relations with the rest of Africa, and is a good location for primarily tourism-related and infrastructure development projects arriving from European countries.
