Traditional Western values are represented by Central Europe

At the meeting, which was also attended by Balázs Orbán, the Prime Minister’s political director and Zoltán Szalai, Director General of MCC, the parties discussed the serious political and economic consequences of the war in Ukraine.

Mr Orbán told the invited academics, writers, researchers and lecturers that today Europe is also suffering from cultural division; today, traditional Western values such as national sovereignty, Christian culture, the support of family and the honouring of hard work, are more characteristic of Central Europe. Therefore, he described the unity and cooperation of the countries of the region in the coming crucial years as important.

MCC Feszt will be held in Esztergom also this year; from Thursday to Saturday, in addition to entertainment opportunities, attendees will be able to acquaint themselves with the entire training range of the Mathias Corvinus Collegium, and meet well-known foreign and Hungarian public figures.
