The Prime Minister said at the meeting of the Operational Group they reviewed events of the weekend and the available defence capacities.
He stressed that the pressure is great, but for the time being physicians, nurses, hospital personnel and schools are all standing their ground.
Mr Orbán highlighted that there are 13,049 free hospitals beds suitable for the treatment of COVID-19 patients and 1,634 intensive beds.
At present, 582 persons require assisted ventilation on intensive care beds; three time this many such beds are still available, he said.
