Earthquake in Croatia – Prime Minister Viktor Orbán offered Hungary’s assistance
After an earthquake in Zagreb causing damage and injuries, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán reassured Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic of his solidarity, and offered Hungary’s assistance, Bertalan Havasi, the Deputy State Secretary heading the Press Office of the Prime Minister informed the Hungarian news agency MTI on Monday morning.
In his message, Mr Orbán said “I was saddened to learn about the natural disaster that hit Croatia and its capital. I believe that in these trying times it is important for the nations of Central Europe to express their solidarity with one another in every possible way. On behalf of the Hungarian people, I would like to express my sympathy and offer the assistance of Hungary,” the Prime Minister wrote.
