In a video posted on his Facebook account on Tuesday, the Prime Minister said in the afternoon Parliament had adopted the budget about the restarting of the Hungarian economy.
He added that they want to achieve a 5.5 per cent economic growth, “for this the budget is a good basis, but is not enough in itself”.
He said “we must adopt brave and unusual decisions in order to raise the country’s economic growth to above 5.5 per cent, but if we succeed, we will be able to give back to families raising children the taxes, the income taxes they paid in 2021”.
At the same time, the Prime Minister pointed out that they will continue the re-introduction of the 13th monthly pension, will be able to provide personal income tax exemption for young people under the age of 25 years, may come to an agreement with businesses about a minimum wage of HUF 200,000, and could reduce taxes on live work again.
“A formidable task, but not impossible. Come on, Hungarians,” the Prime Minister said in conclusion.
