On his Facebook account, Mr Orbán posted a video made during his campaign tour of Zala County. The Prime Minister said the war which had “descended upon the parliamentary elections like a cloud” had not reduced the stakes of the elections, but had “raised them to the skies”.
“What is at stake in these elections is no longer just whether we will go back to where we were before 2010; war and peace are also at stake in these elections,” Mr Orbán said, highlighting that “if we want peace for Hungary, we can only expect that from Fidesz and the Christian Democratic People’s Party”.
On Saturday in Nagykanizsa, the Prime Minister met with members of the electorate, Bertalan Havasi, the head of the Press Office of the Prime Minister told the Hungarian news agency MTI.
