Mr Orbán confirmed that Hungary – the same as to date – continued to remain ready to take part in the European Union’s efforts against the war. At the same time, he reiterated that Hungary would not risk its energy supply; in this regard, there is room neither for gambling, nor for experimenting. Therefore, before any sanction related to energy is tabled, solutions must be found to address the concerns of EU Member States, Mr Havasi reported, adding that Mr Orbán and Mr Johnson agreed to continue to remain in close contact.
