At the meeting, which was also attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó, the parties spoke about the challenges of European energy security. In light of this, they concluded that the interconnection of the electric power networks of the two countries was an enormous achievement. This project has now been completed, and to mark the occasion, a celebration will be held in the presence of the two prime ministers in the afternoon in Cirkovce, Slovenia.
Mr Orbán and Mr Golob also established that bilateral relations between Hungary and Slovenia were not hampered by any problematic affairs, Mr Havasi reported, adding that the two leaders stood for the further economic development of border regions.
