The Prime Minister said in their family the dog has never been just an animal; it has been a part of the family.
“Keeping animals, however, also involves responsibility,” he pointed out. Therefore, the government has launched an online dialogue featuring 13 important questions so that everyone can voice their views on the most important issues of animal protection, including the punishment due for the torturing of animals, the subsidisation of animal welfare organisations, the capturing of stray dogs and rules regarding pyrotechnics.
“Everyone’s opinion counts,” Mr Orbán stated, adding: “so that we can make the necessary decisions, and make good decisions”.
