Prime Minister Viktor Orbán furnished a refugee family with documents

At Csengersima, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán handed over temporary residency documents to a refugee family fleeing from Ukraine according to a video posted on the Prime Minister’s social media account.

The short video reveals that the family with two children is planning to travel on to Italy.

On Wednesday evening, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI that Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had conducted an inspection at the Hungarian-Romanian border station at Csengersima.

Mr Orbán heard the report of police executives about the situation at the border section and the ongoing rise in the region in the number of refugees fleeing from Ukraine in the company of Government Spokesperson Alexandra Szentkirályi, Member of Parliament for the constituency Sándor Kovács and State Secretary for National Information József Kovács.
