Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had talks with President of European Council
On Monday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán had telephone talks with President of the European Council Charles Michel regarding the crisis at the Russian-Ukrainian border, Bertalan Havasi, the head of the Press Office of the Prime Minister informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.
The two leaders established that the situation was deteriorating. At the same time, they agreed that diplomatic efforts for the peaceful resolution of the conflict must be continued.
They pointed out that there was a need for a continued dialogue as avoiding a war was in the best interests of the whole of Europe, including Hungary.
