Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is already at venue of CPAC

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has arrived at the Dallas venue of the American Conservative Union’s summer conference where the pre-opening programmes of CPAC had already begun, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI on Thursday.
Mr Orbán attended the reception of the Center for Fundamental Rights where he spoke to guests about the conclusions of the April election victory and the importance of the protection of Christian democratic rights, highlighting that conservatives must combine forces so that they can win in the upcoming crucial elections both in America and Europe.
Following this, the Hungarian Prime Minister attended a working lunch with CPAC leadership members, Mr Havasi reported.
Mr Orbán’s speech at the opening of CPAC will begin after half past eight in the evening, Hungarian time; it will be broadcast live by M1.
