These are busy days. The National Security Operational Group met again this morning to review the latest developments in the Russian-Ukrainian war. We are in a period of war, and in such times calm is needed. It is in the interest of the Hungarian people for Hungary to stay out of this war, and therefore Hungary is not sending any weapons or soldiers to the conflict zone. We also had to decide whether to allow arms shipments to cross the Hungarian-Ukrainian border. We have decided not to let such shipments through. The reason for this is that there are Hungarians living in Transcarpathia, and we cannot support any action that might endanger their security. We will, of course, provide humanitarian assistance. Yesterday and today Hungarian aid deliveries arrived in Ukraine, and we are continuing to provide care for the refugees arriving from there.
