Prime Minister Viktor Orbán started a series of consultations about the post-COVID situation. After a meeting with the President of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences on Friday, on Monday in the Budapest Building of the Single Parents’ Centre, the Prime Minister met with the representatives of non-governmental organisations focusing on family affairs, Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister’s press chief informed the Hungarian news agency MTI.

Viktor Orbán has completed consultations on the formation of his new government

In accordance with a request from President of the Republic János Áder, over the past few days Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has been holding consultations on the formation of his new government. On Friday Mr. Orbán’s Press Chief Bertalan Havasi informed Hungarian news agency MTI that this consultation process has come to a close, the Prime Minister has informed the boards of Fidesz and the KDNP of the results, and Hungary’s new government will be formed in the weeks following the inaugural sitting of Parliament.
