Hungary wants to strengthen its relations with Eastern countries

Speaking in Kazakhstan on Wednesday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said that while the balance between the East and the West has changed, Hungary does not see this new situation as a threat, but as a source of opportunities which it wants to use by building ever stronger relations with countries in the East.

Europe is undergoing a civilisational crisis, and “the East has come to the West”

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán gave a speech in Piliscsaba on Tuesday, at the official opening of a building for the Avicenna Institute of Middle Eastern studies. In his speech he said that the migration crisis affecting Europe has in fact broadened to become civilizational crisis, and “the East has come to the West”.
