The House of Terror Museum is a success story because with its establishment it is no longer the former communists who tell us what is true and what is a lie, but those whom that regime trampled upon, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said in a video posted on the Memorial Day for the Victims of Communism.

If freedom is lost, if national independence is lost, we too are lost

At the official commemoration event of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution, held outside the House of Terror Museum in Budapest on Monday, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said that “If freedom is lost, if national independence is lost, we too are lost”.
