He said if we go to the ballots and say no to all four questions, we will settle this issue with the referendum for a long time. “The mother is a woman, the father is a man, and our children should be left well alone,” he stressed.
He also highlighted that Hungary is a free country, adults are free to decide how they want to live. “We don’t want to interfere in that. But children are a red line,” he said.
In his view, a referendum must now be held in order to make it clear “these absurdities,” these alien trends must not be allowed to gain access to our schools. He added that if in school children are exposed to impacts that make the job of parents more difficult, schools do something that they have received no permission for.
“We expect teachers, we expect schools not to re-educate our children. We have never surrendered the right to anyone else to decide for us when and how our children should be exposed to these extremely difficult issues of life,” he stressed, adding that this is the parents’ job, and this right must be defended, or else it will be taken away.
