“Vaccinations are making good progress; today, we have a good chance of reaching two million vaccinations,” Mr Orbán said in the video.
The Prime Minister stressed that Hungary had continued the fight against the coronavirus also at the Palm Sunday weekend. “Our physicians and nurses stood their ground, Hungarian health care coped with the workload,” he said, thanking them “also for their efforts at the weekend”.
The Prime Minister drew attention to the fact that, according to the latest news, they have managed to prioritise the vaccination of teachers, but in order for this to succeed they need to register by Monday midnight. He asked teachers to have themselves vaccinated so that nursery, elementary and secondary schools can reopen as soon as possible.
