Mr. Szijjártó will also hold separate discussions with his Russian counterpart today, after which they will hold a joint press conference. Earlier the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade said that the most important topic of their talks will be bilateral economic relations with Russia.
Mr. Lavrov’s current visit to Budapest was agreed upon in February, when Prime Minister Viktor Orbán visited Moscow, and it is one of the main staging points in the follow-up procedure related to the agreements concluded there.
