The Hungarian Prime Minister recalled that 2020 had brought about unexpected trials and extraordinary changes which had exposed our most fundamental values to the greatest threat: the safety of our citizens and the stability of our countries.
He wrote he was convinced that “we could come out of these difficulties steeled, and will be able to turn uncertainty into momentum, reinforcing our nations”.
Mr Orbán reassured Mr Draghi that the Hungarian government continues to remain committed “both to intensifying our bilateral relations and to strengthening our European cooperation based on mutual respect, be that about the security of our continent, competitiveness or the international enforcement of interests,” Mr Havasi reported.
